On happily ever after

I saw a friend's photo album on her engagement ceremony. And while browsing the photos, I saw how happy she was that day, celebrating it with her family and her soon-to-be husband's. She looked absolutely gorgeous, as she always did.
She was one of the smartest in our high school batch, and probably one of the most well to do. And like I said, she was also pretty. Yet, her biggest asset wasn't her looks, wealth, nor intelligence. It was her heart. She is, in my opinion, one of the most humble, kind, and generous people I've ever met.
She's very blessed indeed. And now that I see her engaged, I can tell that she couldn't possibly be any happier.
I fought back tears of joy, (being at a coffee shop) and I was smiling the whole time I was looking at her photos. It made me think how lucky she is, and a part of me wished for something like that to happen to me too.
I guess there's really 'the right one' for everyone. We never know when, we never know who, but when we do.. we just know.
My friend's happily ever after has already started a long time ago, and I'm sure it will continue for a much longer time. I give my heartfelt congratulations, to you both. ^^

For me.. well, I just started my 'Happily' with you.
But I'm damn excited for the next two words after that. Hehe.

Nakakatawa. Sabi ni Yay, eto daw yung criteria na hinahanap ko sa isang "special someone" ko:
1. MEGA-PRESENTABLE:
Hahaha! Natawa ako dito. Grabe, hindi naman ako ganun ka superficial. Pero honestly, may factor naman talaga yung looks. Pero di naman ako naghahanap ng tipong model na partner. Di ako ganun kagwapo para humingi ng ganung level. Presentable, yes! MEGA-presentable.. KUNG PWEDE LANG NAMAN! Hahaha! 
)
2. SAME LIFESTYLE MO:
Ah, true to that. Syempre, yung kapareho ko ng trip. Mahilig sa arts, architecture, music, and traveling! And eating at yummy restos! Pwedeng pwede! Haha. Or at least man lang we're very comfy talking to each other. Important nga naman yung you two complement each other.
3. WITH "FH":
Hahaha. Nakakatawa din to. Physical trait to na meron ako. Think..Middle eastern. Hahaha! Hindi din to requirement, grabe! Pero yeah, I have a thing for people with.. "FH".. hahaha!
4. MAGALING MAGLUTO:
Now THIS is 100% true. Cook for me, and cook damn well..and you'll have me eating from the palm of your hands. Truly, the way to this man's heart is thru his stomach!
5. HINDI TAKOT SA IPIS:
Haha. Well, eto medyo OA but partially true. I hate roaches, and I'd rather my partner would kill it instead of me. But give me a Baygon insect killer and I can take care of myself, don't worry.

And..there you go! The 5 things that takes for me to want to be your boyfriend! Hahaha.

I guess it's time for me to move on.
This whole thing was, of course just a crush. It wasn't hard to fall for you, I mean.. what's not to like about you? You've got most of the things I look for in someone: Smart, talented, reserved, and maybe you remind me a little too much of the ex..personality-wise. Haha.
But anyway, looks like my crush on you has reached its expiration date. And not a second too soon. I'll still admire you, sure. But it's an admiration that doesn't have expectations for something in return, no more fantasies of us being together, and I'm not going to be jealous of whoever you're friendly with. Haha!
I'm happy for you, and I mean it. You do deserve to be always happy. And I wish you nothing but the best, sans the drama ala Adele. 
This would be me, putting myself in the friend zone, of my own free will.
